Contacts needed for shipping from USA or Canada to Russia.

I have been searching extensively here for any concrete info about shipping bikes from USA or Canada to Russia and cannot find any info about name of the companies and contact information for any that ship that way. Also, nothing much about the cost these days.
One of the companies mentioned the most is Fesco, but after contacting them, they are not offering this kind of service anymore.
I got few other contacts from them to other companies and currently am waiting for replies.
Will post what I will find out.
Any information from anyone here would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Preferably from Anchorage, Alaska to Vladivostok, Russia, which should be possible these days...

No direct flight I am aware of from AK to Vlad, unless a special charter cargo flight. Either by air or sea I believe you have to transit out of either Korea or Japan, using feeder service. Best is a feeder out of Busan if by sea or out of ICN if by air. You will need a freight forwarder and Koreans are very good at this. The best one is Korea Express and they do all to every where in the world. I mean every where. One in Seattle call and ask for Alaska office. Here is a link to other Korean forwarders in Seattle. Good luck.

The only advice I can give anyone is, use Yuri Melnikov from Links,Ltd. We used him this year to clear 8 bikes through Russian Customs into Vladivostok. Yuri is fantastic and very honest. He will give you the best advice possible. Our bikes were cleared in 3 days. No one else can do it this quickly. Phone +7(4232)220887, or e-mail: ymelnik {A-T} links-ltd D-O-T} com Make sure you listen to every bit of advice Yuri gives and everything will go smoothly. He is a bloody good bloke as well. The man is incredible.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
