Buying a motorcycle in Mongolia?
 

Hi all,

In 2011 I left my motorcycle at Oasis in UB and am planning on returning in May 2014 to continue riding. However, my girlfriend will be joining me and is in need of a bike, preferably an outfitted dualsport.

I am in limited contact with Sibylle from Oasis- from what I understand he has just sold Oasis and I wanted to gather some ideas here.

Has anyone bought a used motorcycle in Mongolia before? Presumably it would have foreign (not Mongolian) registration and would need to be reregistered to have her name put on the registration so we could cross borders. Is the paperwork and process complicated?
