Beyneu to Kungrad
 

Hi All

I'm getting conflicting information regarding crossing from Kazahstan into Uzbekistan. Is it possible to cross on the road from Beyneu to Kungrad on motorcycle? I'd be grateful for any advise.

I think the acctual bordercrossing is called Tajen. I mentioned this as my exit of Kazah to the embassy when I got my visa, and got no info telling othervise. Its also mentioned here as int border

its a good border crossing (Tajen-Karakalpakia) ... gravel road. Usually a lot of trucks at the border. There is no fuel on the Uzbek side until Kungrad.

There is a resteurant on the Uzbek side 10-20 km after border.
You can buy there fuel and change money (in good price, better than on the border).
Food is also good.
