Accommodation in Moscow with secure parking
 

Hello

Does anybody have a recommendation for accommodation in or around Moscow with secure parking (that will fit a Landrover 2.7m high) that would register our visas?

I can recommend Godzilla's Hostel in Moscow. They do visa registration but there is no secure parking but you can park on the street immediately outside and your vehicle is watched by a CCTV camera from their office. Also it is opposite a police station. I left a motorcycle outside there last year for 4 days with no issues. The hostel is about 20 minutes walk from Red square etc so its pretty central and you have the choice of dorms (at about $20 night) through to own rooms. Overall I thought very good. As a general comment I did not find sensible (ie where it was easily visible) on-street parking to be any more risky in western Russia than in any large Australian town. I certainly never had any trouble with it. When you see the amount of flash cars in Moscow you may understand why![/COLOR]
