Kazakhstan Embassy closed in Ulaanbaatar
 

if you want to get a Visa for Kazakhstan in Ulaanbaatar the embassy is closed for 6 weeks starting July 15th so get your kazakhstan visa before getting to Ulaanbaatar. The embassy said the nearest Kazakhstan embassy to Ulaanbaatar is Omsk Russia.

I am in Ulaanbaatar and have just been the the Kazakhstan embassy and they told me it will re-open on 15th August.

It has also moved, it is now at Zaison Hill. Head for the airport, turn left at the triangular roundabout and then turn right at Green House Town, a green terraced building just before Zaisan Bridge, the embassy is down that road on the right. Tel number is 345408.

Even the local information has the old address.

According to the web site the only embassy in Russia is in Mosacow, but I will check out Omsk as that would work for us.

Omsk would be a Consulate (Konsultsvo) rather than an embassy, but consulates also do visas.

Intrepid, could you please waypoint or get me a GPS co-ordinate for the new KZ embassy in UB? Thanks in advance. :)
