weather in USA in January
Just wondering if anyone has any advice on what the weather in the southern states and Mexico would be like in January? Looks like I'm going to have the month off and kind of fancy jumping on the bike for a mini trip for that time.

sunny so cal
some of the best jan riding in the world right here in so cal deserts ghost towns nevada/ariz/ut. must see oatman old gold town in az. yes i can hardly wait for my new f800gs to arrive .

If you ride in "Southern" California, Arizona, New Mexico you should be fine but the "Northern" half of those states have winters, cold and snow. The north rim of the Grand Canyon is closed in the winter.
