Vegas to Chicago Renting
 

Hi All,

My partner and I will be in the USA from the end of May until the start of June. Currently we are planning on heading from Vegas to Chicago over 3 weeks in the middle of the trip after a friend's wedding. We have limited time at the end of the trip so buying and selling isn't really an option for us.

I know renting is reasonably expensive but I guess you pay for saving time and ease of getting and returning the bike.

I have contacted route 66 riders who are really great and up front with all the costs.

I was wondering if you guys have any other recommendations so I can compare costs?

Browse around, they sometimes have one-way specials at discount prices to return bikes that a previous renter used to travel the route 66. Those can often be picked up in LA, sometimes in Vegas or SF too.

Also note that if you rent with Eagle Rider in Vegas, this is one of the very very few rental places in the US where you can rent non-Harleys.
