Use of a shop and help in New York City
Holamigos,
Bought a KLR650 in San Francisco in April. Covered about 15k miles so far on the way to Argentina, I'm in New York City, taking the long way round! :-) Hearing some very unhealthy noises from the bike. I did the doohickey upgrade about 5k miles back and the original spring had disappeared into the engine. I'm wondering if that spring has worked its way into another part of the engine and is slowly destroying things. Does anyone know of a bike shop in New York that would let me use their tools to open up the engine and have a look? I might need also need some help figuring out what's wrong, I'm hoping I can fix it myself once the problem is identified. Any shop recommendations in / around New York City? Thanks in advance...
