USA parts suppliers

Hi,

A friend based in New Jersey has very kindly offered me his old Suzuki GS 250 for a 2-3 month trip starting in the spring. I need to get him a few bit and pieces in the meantime. The problem is I'm based in the UK. Can anyone recommend a US dealer/supplier with an on-line ordering facility? At the moment it's just a chain and sprocket kit, oil filter and spark plugs I need.

Thanks, Rich

Suzuki 250? I could get him some parts but there should be someone closer. Make it to montana and I'll trade you a oil change for a few stories. Good travels layabout.

Well, if you could give me an idea of the price of a chain and sprocket kit (non o-ring chain) that would be cool. Plus the cost of an oil filter.

Hopefully, the oil will have been changed by the time I arrive in NJ but it'll need another change en route so I may well take you up your offer.

Thanks,

Rich

I've had great success with www.dennisKirk.com
They usually charge full retail prices but have an enormous inventory and are very friendly.

Thanks for all your help - we managed to get the bits we needed from Bikebandit and ebay. My friend's brother-in-law is helping him to prep the bike. He's an engineer on a nuclear submarine so if the bike turns out to be a pile of crap we should all start worrying!
