USA insurance
 

we are currently in the US and i am trying to source a competitive insurance.

i have checked out the companies on the site but would like to know your opinions.

i am British riding a UK registered bike, looking for about 4 months cover. thanks

Good to hear youve made it to the US. After a lot of messing about, numeruous calls, visits to brokers we used the following:-

www.fernet.com

You can call them on 1-800-391-8144.

I printed the forms off the web, faxed them to Fernet and they faxed back confirmation to our hostel within a couple of hours. For 2 months cover the cost was $139. They also do fully comprehensive cover for your bike.

do they cover canada as well, or will i need yet another policy to cover my time there? i've had a look but am unsure if canada counts as the "united states"... i suspect not!

But yes, they do also cover Canada last I heard. Call them!

absolutely, in the respect of insurance with 'Fernet' Canada is included....but as always check your insurance.

i recently made a claim on my insurance and the company gave me NO problems whatsoever...what more can i say.
