Have a look at paulmondor.com He has traveled this route many times but in the dead of Winter. You can contact him via his website.

Although everything is possible, it will be hard on the bike and can be dangerous in some places. I believe in the past years, more section have been paved, but there is still a lot of road construction and you can drive in loose gravel for dozens, if not hundred of kilometers. The minimum I would recommend are 50/50 tires, such as Heidenau or TKC. PM me if you want more details, I have done the Labrador with my Ural some years ago.
One of my friend did it with a Honda Ascott with 50/50 tires. His report is here (in French):

There are a number of ride reports out there from folks who rode the TL Hwy on street bikes. Do a general web search, check AdventureRider web site. Check "Ride the Rock" web site.

Your K75 is a good weight, lighter street bike. I've had my 1150Rt to Prudhoe Bay, plus lots of other gravel travel. You will be limited by your tires, but slime, marble sized gravel, or deep sandy conditions are challenging on any bike. Yours will be more-so, and you might have to camp out until the road improves, or go slow.

Ride what you own!
