San Fransisco area bike rental
I am thinking about flying to San Fransisco in mid september to spend about a week in Northern California. I have been looking for rental bikes but 99% is Harley's or GoldWing for $75 or more a day.
Nothing wrong with Harley's or GoldWing. I owned and loved both, but I rather have a cheaper and lighter bike like my BMW F650GS or a bike like a BMW R850 or something like that for a nicer price. Does anyone know about bike rentals that are not only for rich tourist and that have more choice then only the big expensive bikes ? What is the average price for a simpel motelroom in the area North of San Francisco ? No luxery, just a bed to sleep in and a shower after a day riding. All information in welcome.
