RoRo between North America & Vladivostok

I'm having trouble arranging shipping of a small motorhome between N.America (ideally Alaska) & Vladivostok as part of a round the world attempt on the cheap from the UK.
The camper is too tall for standard containers and a 40ft high cube sounds expensive. It appears there are no direct RoRo routes, leaving me with the following options:

1) RoRo via Japan or South Korea
2) Does anyone want to buy a camper in Vladivostok for return to Europe.

Can anyone offer advice or help with these or any other options?

If you think the cost of the container is expensive, arriving in Vlad and the "customary" greetings could enlighten you....

Not to dissuade you from trying, BUT make sure you have a contact in Vlad to process you through customs...IF you choose Vlad as your port of entry...

Right now, South Korea and entry into SE Russia via ferry to Zurubina is your safer bet...BUT that may have some drama as well...

Cheapest ports of exit from North America are Long Beach/Los Angeles and Seattle/Tacoma...nothing in Canada compares...

Thanks Edde

Thanks for the info Edde, I'll look into the S Korea option.

So far I've managed UK to India by bike, UK to The Gambia by car, and UK to Mongolia by van (2007) without paying any "gratuities". Don't want to break a good habit!!

Do you have any shipping contacts for Vladivostok/S Korea & S Korea/USA?

I'm not saying its impossible as I paid no bribes in Mauritania, Russia etc...BUT it all depends on how lucky you are sometimes, how you approach the situation, and a few other trade secrets;)

Vlad is another world though...I hope you get as lucky as I did!

BUT to save you a bit of tussle, I will email you contact info for a shipper in Korea who can have you arrive South of Vlad in Zurubina...and that will limit the drama to the landscape and its people...
