Planning a trip to Ontario with my friends….!!

Hello all, we are a group of six and are coming up with plans to have a visit to Ontario, Canada. We have not taken the services of any travel agents or that sort and are now working to collect as much information as we could on the place there. We would appreciate any information provided by you all on that matter!

I wish I could have been a part of the group……I have a long desire to visit Canada, but something or the other keeps coming up and I find it hardly possible. But, I do have some information that I had saved for my trip. I had searched for some good accommodations for the place and find Ottawa executive suites to be a good source for Vacation rentals and other corporate apartment rentals. I hope that I make it there very soon.

Enjoy The Trip.

Ontario is now closed for the winter. Thankyou for your patronage and see you next May.
But seriously , if you want to see fall colours ,not that great this year, hurry on up for a quick look then scurry back to warmer southern climes. If snowmobiling and wintersports interest you, you will have to wait a month or so .
If however motorcycling is your thing it is getting too late in the season to contemplate any kind of long roadtrip here. The weather is changing to the late fall- early winter mode and pleasant riding days will be few and far between from now until late spring in south Ontario.
You give no clue as to what your start location is , your mode of travel nor your time frame for the trip so any suggestions will have to be very general. You can find all kinds of info on official Ontario travel sites for whatever interests you . Otherwise just come on up- next spring when everything is greening up again and wander the highways , you will find lots of motels campgrounds etc.

The apartments look splendid ,has anyone tried them recently ? I am anxious to know if a KLR with aluminum panniers will fit into the elevators and through the front door.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
