Accomodations Near Breckenridge Colorado

We have two condo's available to rent near Breckenridge, Colorado USA.

As avid Adventure Touring Riders, we have decided to make them available to other riders on a direct basis rather than through rental/tour companies and pass along the significant savings. We are the owners of these two condos so you would not be dealing with a broker etc.

If you go through a rental company company on these condos, those companies typically add 40% to our rates plus a service fee and tax. The rental company marks up our price by 30% - 40% depending on season plus adds a 10% service fee and then another 7% tax plus cleaning fee.

If you go direct to us, we do not add the mark up, service fee, and eat the tax but we do have the cleaning fee since that is something we have to pay for ourselves and it is not a profit center trust me. We charge what the cleaning company charges us. If you stay a week, we will also eat the cleaning fee.

If you let us know that you are coming through HL, we will also add an additional 10% discount

We have two links where you can check calendars, rates and pictures at the direct for rent by owners site. My wife handles most of this so if you email or call our number from these links and tell her that you are ADV, she will also do another 10% off of these prices above and beyond the other reductions mentioned above.

Winters are pretty jammed for ski season but in the summer we will deal on them. We will also do the direct pricing like above in winter but the pricing changes with the season. Rates should be broken down on the links below by season. We get tired of the rental companies taking a 40% increase plus service charge and then not allow partial weeks, mid-week thus costing us rental. We would rather just deal direct.

The condos are in the Mountainside complex in Frisco, CO which is a prime location and have pretty much everything, towels and linen, full kitchens, tv's, dvd players. The clubhouse has a pool, hot tubs, raquetball, laundry and an outdoor tennis court and all are open to renters. The complex borders National Forest and there is blue ribbon trout fishing, kayaking, hiking, and a beautiful lake, Lake Dillon, all within waking distance. Vail and Beaver Creek are about 20 miles down the road and the back way through Leadville is a GREAT ride.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
