Off-roading in NWT and YK
 

I'm doing some planning for a trip up through northern AB, YK, and NWT on a KLR650 but I'm hoping to get off the major highways and on to some old trails. I've heard stories of old fur trader trails that may still be passable, kept open by local snowmobilers and migrating game but haven't been able to find anything yet. Heck, I'd even settle for some retired logging roads.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
