Need a BMW Mechanic in Colorado
Hey there,
I just purchased an '03 BMW 650CS with 6000 miles on it. While riding it back from California the bike engine screwed up and I can no longer shift into 1st gear, it just goes to neutral. I can shift into 2nd and all the other gears, just not 1st. I took it into BMW of Denver and they said I had a bent fork inside the engine. They wanted $500 for parts and an absurd amout for service. If I could have somebody take a look at it and offer to fix it for a flat fee (if parts are needed I'll get them) then that would be great. If you are interested in the work then please give me a call at 303-929-5782 (On a side note, I had this same thing happen while on my trip to South America and I got it fixed at Dakar Motos in Argentina. Bike was same year same model. It had something to do with the Gasket Set and a plastic part for the oil line) Thanks guys, Mike

You may try on the chain gang The Chain Gang (Membership Info) If it is about the F650 they will know it. May even tell you how to fix it your self.
