Instalment Plan Bike Storage in Canada

We are doing a very slow ride around the world on the “instalment plan” with two Triumph Tigers, we started in Korea in 2006and have made it to Iceland so far. We plan to finish in Chile (maybe) 2016, ten years after we started.


I have posted a couple of notes requesting info about Canadian bike importing and storage abd thanks for the information so far.


Our next stage is starting to firm up and it looks like we will be shipping our bikes from Reykjavik to Halifax mid April, doing a ride in Eastern Canada concentrating on Quebec and the Maritime Provinces and till mid May.


We plan to leave the bikes in Canada for 12 months, return before the 24 April 2015 and ride across into US to continue on our way south.


I am looking for cheap (or free) bike storage any where from Toronto to Halifax. Be great to hear from anyone with any ideas.


We feel on our feet in Iceland. The bikes are forming a display at the local BMW dealer in Reykjavik in return for free storage, I do not anticipate that we will get that lucky again, but any left wing ideas would be gratefully received.


Also places to ride/ stay/ see in Eastern Canada always appreciated.
