help! passing motorcycle licence in USA

hi all, i have started passing a motorbike licence in france, the idea was to finish it before i come to the usa, but it is taking so long to finish that i wonder if its possible to complete the first half, called the 'plateau' in french, then come to the usa to complete it over a much more intense, shorter time. the plateau's basically the bit u do off the roads, like on a car park somewhere, winding inbetween cones etc. if passed the exam for this section, can people tell me if its compatable? thanks, paris

Yes

When I moved from UK to USA with a full license to live I needed to pass my test AGAIN in the USA to own a motorcycle. I attended a short training course in Boston, MA where I got my motorcycle endorsement.

One challenge I think that you will have it that you need a permenent address in the state to do this.

If I remember somewhere like Tennessee is easy to get a license.

Hope this helps, Nick
