help!entering the us from mex-insurance?
 

hello !

riding with a european registered bike into the staates. crossing will be at Nougales mex to arizona

does anyone know, how that workes out with the insurance for the staates! can i get one at the border or do i have to aply for one in advance!

There are no border insurance agencies for the US, while there are plenty the other way around--going into Mexico from the US.

I am not sure as to the requirements for obtaining insurance here as a traveler, but since the US is such a litigious country, it is slightly more difficult to issue policies; hence there are no convenient little shops that issue US insurance policies to travelers quickly, on the spot.
