Having not been to a Traveler's Meeting before, I am wondering how many people are to expected to attend?

There were quite a few last year, although I never got a head count.
Maybe 50 people?

I'll be there as well as a first-timer. I'm only driving over the hill from Durango, but I'll try to at least drive the long way round (um, no pun intended) over Lizard Head and through Telluride.
50 sounds great. By the way, Silverton's been sunny and cool the last couple of weeks, with occasional mountain showers. Should be great.

I'll be there with a friend, too.
Possibly on my unreliable $5,000 Norton, but more likely on my reliable $400 Honda. Neither one of them is running right now. I entered myself and a few suckers, uh... friends, into a $500 car race, and we've been working on the race car. Haven't had any time to fix my bike. It's a pretty fun race: The 24 Hours of LeMons --Dave |
