Christmas in Yosemite
We are currently doing a RTW tour and will be in the USA in mid December. Having spent most of our trip in guest houses and camping, my other half is insisting on something a bit better for Christmas. We fly into San Fran and we have therefore thought about staying somewhere in Yosemite for Christmas. Can anyone recommend anywhere that is nice but will not break the bank. Hotel or self catering would be fine.

I would be happy to help you look. You might also wish to consider Sequoia and King's Canyon. They are near to Yosemite, very pretty, and may not be as expensive as Yosemite.

Thanks for the response. We are likley to arrive in San Fran around the 15th of Dec. We intend to spend maybe 5 days in San Fran and then head to Yosemite for 23, 24 25 of December. With regards to budget, we were planning on maybe $100 a night over the Christmas period. Thanks for any help that you can provide.
