Canada West August 2014
 

Hi All
I am considering heading up to Canada (maybe pushing it to touch Alaska this trip) leaving Ft Lauderdale first week August. Have been off my Tiger since 27 Dec 2013 after breaking my leg :oops2: :nono: , so keen as mustard to ride again.
Looking for a/any thread with latest updates and tips/suggestions around the west Canada region. The HU Canwest is certainly a possibility as well. Also, a recommended route from FLL to Canada for a quick safe ride (upstate New York Canadian border to FLL in 2 days in Sept 2013 so don't mind long stretches once in a while).
Any comments appreciated.

Hello Steve,

Make sure you attend the HU meeting in Nakusp. Lovely country and some fine roads. Lots of other riders will be there to point you in many different directions. Cannot recommend the HU meet enough, great fun. I'll be there, hopefully bump into you! Have a fabulous trip.
