how to send luggage to Seattle area?

Hi Friends,
I am on a long trip reaching Tacoma middle of July.
Problem: it looks like I need an address in the seattle area to send my luggage, the bike will be naked on a roro ship to Tacoma.
Has anyone an Idea if I can send the luggage to a post office or alike and pick it up? Its difficult to find out from Japan, where I am now.
Or, can someone provide an address where I can send it, store it for me and I pick it up?

Thanks!
Thomas

Did you try to send a message to one of the communities in the Seattle area?

Contact me if you can't find a community member to help. I have family in the area (unfortunately not motorcycle travelers).

I am south of Tacoma m/l 60 miles. You can ship luggage here and I can help you get the bike out of port and put it all together. Send me a PM and we can work out the details if you are interested.

Thanks Rob and everybody the replies in the communities were plenty! I think I found a good contact close to Tacoma. Still, maybe if I get through one day, I come by for a drink Rob?

Best, Thomas

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
