Within the next ten days my Super Tenere, myself and my wife arrive in Portland. We will be doing an eleven week ride of Alaska, Canada and the states. We are planning to ride to Fairbanks via Stewart/ Hyder. We will not being doing Prudoe but will go to Manly Hot Springs. Then Denali Highway with a side trip on the Nabesna Road before up to Chicken and Top of World Highway. We are then planning to ride the Campbell with an Arctic circle crossing on the Dempster.
Across Canada we will ride through Athabasca then across north central Saskatchewan and eventually down to Wisconsin through Minnesota.
With a break to see family in Wisconsin we are planning to ride to Hot Springs Ark. and then across Texas and New Mexico and do some ADV riding in Utah before returning to Portland via Montana and Idaho.
We will be caring some camping gear to save money and would like to avoid major freeways if at all possible.
Hope to catch up others on the way and would appreciate any advise any one could offer.
