Apparel Stores in LA?
 

Hi all, can anyone recommend a good motocycle apparel store in the Los Angeles region? Are there any "Super Stores" with a big range of clothing?

I have heard that Chapparel in San Bernadino are very good but that is ~100 mi out of central LA...

You will find the greater metropolitan L.A. area HUGE!! A trip to San Bernadino is not out of the question for L.A. residents to make to save some $$. While technically not L.A., SB is part of the vast L.A. area. If you are heading east out of L.A., chances are, you will go through that area anyway, and if you weren't planning on it, if the savings are great enough, you might want to take a few hours ride.

There must be some other stores that showed up on a web search?

Chaparral has a big sale every October...this year its Oct. 6th. The ad is in Cycle News and online. I guess they invite vendors to set up so there will be even more stuff than usual. The place is like a CostCo for motorcycles. Huge.

Some good deals....its a one day only, CASH only deal. A lot of loss leaders stuff and some BS with still high prices. Mostly picked over stuff, but for certain things like low end googles, cheap gloves, boots (if you wear size 5), weird tires,
Quad crap and add ons no one wants...well its OK.

But they have a great supply of tires, tools, oil/lubricants et al, and just about everything else....but hardly any of the "good stuff" will be super cheap.

If you're serious....get there early.. they open at 8am. We hit it once on the way to Baja and scored some tires cheap. $65 tires for $30. Boots and stuff
go fast.
