This is probably a daft question..........
Apologies if anyone reading this thinks I'm a complete idiot (true) but.....I have a Garmin 60 CSX which proved to be invaluable on our 3 month trip down to Africa except in one rather important detail; I couldn't read the screen. It was just too small mounted on the windscreen of our Merc truck, I guess 2.5 feet away. Now I hear you all saying-get some glasses, but I was wondering if it's possible to slave wire it in to a larger unit (I also have a Nuvi sat nav) and use that unit (or something else with a large screen) as the display?
Any suggestions? Q

Can't you plug it into a remote sensor and mount it nearer to your face?

Brilliant Matt. Can't imagine why I didn't think of that. I suppose I could get my wife to hold it close up to my face and whip it away when we're about to hit something.

Just give the navigation job to the passenger, full stop, and get on with the driving.
You do make me think however: has anyone used a GPS as a navigation device for a bike, but in the hands of a pillion rather than fixed on the handlebars? It would give the pillion something to do and keep him/her from falling asleep on the back.
