novice wants to set up garmin + PocketPC 3000
 

Hi

I have a Garmin 60C (mounted on the bike) and have just inherited (from work) a Compaq 3000 series pocketPC. I know I can link these two up and work with maps that garmin either don't provide or are too costly. I have no idea how to set the PC up on the bike and whether I can get a useful system organised between these two. There must be websites out there that spell this stuff out. I'd really appreciate: some guidance to these sites; whether this really is a useful combo; and what options I have to get the most out of the pocket pc. Thanks, and sorry if this enquiry is too vague or too demanding.
