All in one GPS tracker

Hey guys

I hope this is the correct section for this question.

I'm currently starting to prepare for my next trip. And the one thing I was missing from past trips is more data. So I was wondering if there is something like a GPS Tracker on steroids out there?

What I used on the last trip;

- logging the track => Garmin InReach

- playing music => Phone

- Navigation => Zumo / Phone

- Have a system to collect fuel costs => Excel on Notebook

- Have a system to collect general expenses => Excel on Phone

- Hotspot for the local SIM => Old phone

What I was missing in hinsight:

- Dashcam

- All the data available form the ODB2 connector

- Additional data like incline / decline, environment (rain/no rain, day/night rides), exact altidue, max speed overall/per day, temperature

Since I already carried a lot of electronic gadgets around, I don't really want to get a dedicated dashcam but want to try to reduce the amount of devices. I tried to do that with a rapberry pi, with some success, but failed to get a nice GUI and to draw up a case for it to. So I was wondering - Does anybody out there know from a good all in one device that could be used?

I'd say the Pi is a pretty valid base to start from. Have you tried this: https://www.nomadicpi.com/ ?
I haven't gotten around to it myself, but it will probably be one of my next projects. Cases can be 3D Printed from a custom design that you make yourself to suit your particular needs.

Dare I ask why?

Here is something else you can try. I have been using this lately.
Its an app for the smartphone called Maps.ME
Offline App that uses OSM maps and I have found it useful so far. NO data Charges, No Roaming nothing ready to go. Just download the maps you want to use and ride away.
