Merging OSM maps for mapsource: how?

I have successfully downloaded decent maps from OSM websites and loaded them into mapsource.

I hope to visit Norway and Sweden in the coming month and I would like to merge the Norway map with the Sweden map to be able to view both, side by side in my eTrex HCX Legend, once loaded on to a micro SD card.

Any suggestions how this an be done?

could you tell me how to load them in mapsource? I tried a lot of times without success. (step by step would be perfect, thanks in advance)

when you select the maps in Mapsource that you want to be transferred you first have to select the map you want to be used (top left of the window just underneath the menubar). So you click on let´s say SWEDEN OSM, then you select all the regions you want to have transferred. Then you click on the let´s say NORWAY OSM and also select all the necessary regions. On the left hand side of the Mapsource screen you will also see what you have selected (and how many Mbs). Both (or more) maps can be uploaded to the GPS and the GPS automatically goes from 1 map to another when necessary. If you say now ´I knew all this`, sorry, than I obviously did not understand the question...
