Loading City Nav Europe 2008
 

Hello,

I have just got a Garmin Zumo 400 with GB & Irl maps installed, i want to use this gps in Europe next month so have bought the Map update City Navigator Europe NT 2008 DVD, my problem is when i connect it all up and try to download it only gives me options of different countries not an option of all of europe, is there a way to put all of the maps onto the garmin or is there too much info for the memory, i also put a 2GB SD card.

i see i could buy a SD card from garmin to cover europe but cannot use this in mapsource.

It is not very clear what exactly happens and how do you "connect it all up".

In MapSource you use Map Select tool to select parts of the map on screen you want to transfer and then use Send to Device button. Zoom the Europe map all the way out then you can use Map Select tool to drag box around map tiles you want to transfer.

Yep, agreed, not enough detail.. i ahve the exact same model and a 2gb card and in the last day or two put all earope, all morocco with 3500 custom POIs on it with no prob at all...
