IGN Morocco Maps?

Going to Morocco in September but where can I find Chris Scott's recommended IGN Maps??!!
Can't find them in the UK...maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Stanfords told me I'd be lucky if I got them in Morocco!

Any clues?

Have you tried Standfords – I think there is a shop in Bristol, though there is abig store near Covent Garden London.

R U still off in Sept? I was planning a similar trip, so maybe we can hook up at some point.

If it is the country "Maroc' map you are after (and not the ancient series at 1 mil) then I am sure Stanfords in L ndon have them
020 7836 1321 (but they've never answered in 20 years or more...)

Have a look at: http://www.sahara-overland.com/maps.htm

Thanks for the replies.I had a man in Paris running around with no luck anywhere...The guys at The Map Shop came up with the goods very quickly having sent me an impressive Moroccan list. Highly Recommended! Thanks again for the Tip.

Just for the record,

1) www.daerr.de in Germany has a very good selection of IGN maps and other assorted expedition goodies.

2) www.ign.fr is the official homepage to Insitut Geografique National (IGN) in France.

I was in Brackens today ( http://www.bracken.co.uk SE London) and the GPS guy there was showing me some Russian and french maps with quite good detail they use with the Tourtech routeplanning software.

As I have said in the hubb before. I can get hold of most maps that exist really easily.
I know the guy who for ex. supplies the IGN or Michelin maps to Stansford in London.
The company is named Craenen Cartocenter, they are the biggest in Europe.
If I can be of any help by sending them to you (we just have to work out a way to get the payement arranged) just ask.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
