GPS Data Loggers
Anybody using any GPS dataloggers out there? I have only found limited information on them and am not sure exactly how they work. Are they permanently hooked up to the GPS or do you hook them up then do a download? Do they only store Long/Lat info or other info too (altitude, speed etc.)? I have only found 2 reasonable datalogers out there (in terms of storage size): http://homepages.tig.com.au/~robk/datalogger.html
http://207.150.218.18/english/produc...PSznParts.html Are there others I should look at? What about people bringing laptops (PDA???) on trips for downloads. Is it practical for a 12 month trip? Thanks [This message has been edited by rodskogj (edited 03 July 2001).] |

There is a waypoint tracker that Touratech sell, try their web page as it may have more info on the product.
