hi i am having issues with google maps , here is my problem,i am planing my route from london to moscow all is fine till i get to italy border then it wont let me plane the route thru croatia or russia? tried in goggle earth too? anyone help me here or tell me another way to plot route and put on my website. i am useing a mac is that the problem? also i have a garmin zumo 550 but cant use map source on mac .. please let me know what im doing wrong.. thanks tom

it may be a GOOGLE issue. sometimes Google does not want to play nice. sometimes it doesnt want to play at all.
I have found this.

Maybe I am wrong but it seems that is is google at fault as I too Have both PC & Macintrash at home.....

( Can call em Macintrash as I used em since 1990 for design & graphics work, which with Photoshop, Freehand, Illustrator, Streamline & Quark Express they are the Mutts Nutts, but give em summat SIMPLE to do like surf the net they slow up and die!)

Google doesn't have routing information for that part of the world unfortunately :-( We hit the same thing, so whilst we've used google to show our route....

It's only 'rough' in terms of the roads we're actually using. To do that part we took a trip to Stanfords in London and bought the maps, then spent the afternoon on the living room floor! We also bought a dirty great big detailed map of Europe....
