Road Atlas

Hello one & all,

I was wanting to buy a road atlas for Mongolia & Russia. I'm not wanting a GPS version atm I really want a regular paper road map, like the road atlas that AA does for Europe. A wall map will suffice.

I havent had any luck so far, even looking online. My local bookshop has even failed me.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I may be able to get one? (in Australia)

Took me 1 google search to find.

Mongolia Map, Mongolia Road Maps, Detailed, Mongolia Travel Maps

They claim to ship worldwide. All the best!

Do remember that a line on a bit of paper does not mean a road actually exists.

Why limit yourself to OZ? .. You won't be visting one in Perth so I don't see any reason not to use one in New York .. That said if you want to see some in the flesh .. try a map centre ... a google Google on "Map centre sydney" turns up a few. The one I usually vist is Hello and welcome to My Map Shop | My Map Shop - Map Centre Parramatta in Paramatta where the parking is easy.

You LEGEND!

I thought there was a shop in Parra that did that sort of thing but couldnt for the life of me remember where exactly or the name of it.

I was hoping someone would be able to tell me of a shop so I could physically see the map before I bought it.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
