garmin 60csx or 76 csx

I have right now a 76c and for over 5years this was my favorite GPS, I now need a new one and with more memory that my actual one . I do not like the touch screen and do not need to spend $600 in a large screen one so my question to you if any ofyou use these two model did you notice any specific problem when they use larger memory card that the one sold with it.

thanks

I have the 76CSX and I put the Garmin City Navigator North America maps for the USA and Canada on it with a SanDisk 2GB micro sd card.

does the unit respond as fast as before you put such a big ship.

I don't think that the size of the sd card affects the speed.
You can only put in 2025 map segments on a card that is less than 2GB.
If you use a 4GB card I have read that you can save tracks on the empty space.

The one thing I have found that will slow down the GPS is if you build long routes.
That is a thousand miles or more. If you go off route it will take a long time to recalculate.
I build a route for each day and if I make any changes it will only affect that days route.
