Excellent Garmin Customer Service
 

This summer, my well-used 3 ½ year-old Garmin GPS V which I bought in the UAE stopped working in the UK. Within a week, Garmin Europe (UK) sent me a free replacement unit with a new warranty.

A year or so prior to that Garmin in the UAE had sent me a free replacement housing for the same unit because heavy wear and tear had led to a cracked case.

I think this kind of excellent customer care deserves publicity. Cheers, Garmin!
