Convert .kmz to .gdb?
 

Gents,
Anyone know how to convert Google Earth .kmz file to Garmin Mapsource .gdb format?

I guess the way to go is to find a KML -> GPX converter and then import these GPX files into MapSource (be sure your MapSource is up to date, otherwise old verisons can't open GPX files).

OK, after a good Turkish dinner with Efes non-alc beer:
Save the waypoint in Google Earth as a .kml file.
Use GPSBabel to convert from .kml to .gdb
Open .gdb in Mapsource.
Q.E.D.

Did you try GPS Utility (www.gpsu.co.uk)? It's useful not only for conversions.

Another vote for GPS Babel. It's handled all the various GPS formats I've come across so far.
