Collecting Paper Maps As You Go
Hi Everyone,
So im about to hit Egypt, Sudan, ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya Tanzania and I travel without a GPS...

Why you ask?? I like getting lost ALL the time
However, what I want to know is can anyone tell me where the best place to get the above maps from while Im on the road?

otherwise its back to the guidebook ones where you really get lost!!

If you want to follow the main routes the area you desribe is covered by two Michelin-maps, but don't expect to find them in Africa.

The bookshop (there's only one) on the second floor of the Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi had a good selection for Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania when I looked a couple of months back.

Sudan is a tricky one as there has been so much new road building - best bet would be to print out a few sheets from Google Maps.
