Balkans/Greece/Turkey - (4x4) satnav

Don't want to break the bank, but need a decent sized display
and good maps for the above.

Mainly: Western Balkans, Greek mainland, Aegean & Mediterranean coasts of Turkey. Nothing east of Adana's longitude ncessary.

Want one that is easy to set up and use, I'm not into fiddling around with gizmos.

It's a maze to me.

For every good review on a garmin or tom tom etc, there appears to be a counter one. One lists this, the other doesn't and vice versa. Garmin was good until the user got to an eastern european country and then it was stupid, often directing him miles out of the way .......etc etc.

Then you have "full" maps that turn out to only have 60 odd percent coverage and are likely biased toward town and city navigation. As I plan on avoiding major urban centres save for navigating around them, it looks as if good paper maps will contain more rural detail.
