Take a look at last years reviews and the feedback on the forum. it was a great event with a great atmostphere. If you enjoy a party you will enjoy this. very mixed age range but all one purpose.

Blacksheep, I live in Wooburn Moor. Won't be able to attend the UK meet as we'll be in Portugal, for the meet there, at the start of our trip to OZ, but if you fancy a drink send us an email....Bob

Yeah i would be great to meet up.

Unfortunatly I wont be able to attend the meet as my motorbike was stolen on monday morning After much stress and worry over my first bike and where it was. I was phoned by the police on wednesday and told that 4 people had been arrested after a farmer phoned 999 as they were chasing his animals round the field.

I went to pick my bike up on thursday and its i totally wrecked, everything is broken off or scratched, including the word BEAST on the tank, i can find some humor in this as it is a honda CG 125. But still not the point they have wrecked somthing i took such great care of... well i just can't put my anger in to words, and whats the point in doing so.

I will try to claim my very large excess £500 and the cost of transfering my numberplate off the bike off them when they go to court and if ( i mean bloddy if, ahhhhh)they are found guilty.

Well i went out and bought a mini today as it will be more practicle as i am just starting a business, well more so than a bike.

I will get a bike again as soon as money allows.... for a bigger lock that is

Everything happens for the best.

Sorry to hear about the theft - always a pain, and frustrating at such stupidity.

BUT that doesn't mean you can't come to the meeting! We won't kick you out for no bike, come and have fun anyway - and get some inspiration!

Hey black sheep - sorry to hear about your bike, but if you're interested in motorcycle travel then you will be inspired by the HU meet. If you have a dream then it will stick with you until you do something about it, so why not come along and get some ideas? I was your age when I rode around australia on a '79 XT250, ever since I've been haunted by a long-term cross-continent adventure...

Don't worry about coming in a car - I did last year and nobody laughed at me (though I did try to sneak in and parked right at the end of the campground). Lucky for me I did as Sunday morning was a struggle due to banging hangover. If I see a mini in the campground I'll come over and say hi.

Dates for 2004 not set yet, but around the same time and probalby place, assume we don't overfill it this year.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
