Lawrence Hacking, Dakar Rally racer and author, who presented at the first HU Ontario meeting last September, has organized an Overland Adventure Rally which is coming soon!

When: July 12-14, 2013

Where: Mohawk Inn, Campbellvile, Ontario (Guelph Line and just north of the 401)

Main feature - the Mohawk Inn 250 Adventure Challenge - 250 km ADV ride with two route choices and 36 Classes!


Evenings will include BBQ Dinners and special guest speakers:

• University of Gravel Roads Author and World Traveller, Rene Cormier will there to chat about new trips he has to offer in South Africa (sponsored by Dual Sport Plus)
• 7 time Dakar Finisher and UK-Based GS Training Instructor, Simon Pavey, (sponsored by BMW Canada)
• Warren Milner, our HU Ontario event lead organizer (sponsored by Honda Canada)

Other activities:

• Industry Expo and Seminars - lots of vendors including Dual Sport Plus, Apex Cycle, Sturgess Cycle and BMW Toronto
• Vintage Motocross Bike Exhibition
• Live Entertainment - Juno nominee Country Music Artist Clayton Bellamy will be performing on Sat night of the event. (sponsored by Triumph Canada)

The event will be in a KOA Campground, so lots of room for trailer parking if you bring the family. There will be kids events and movie night for them as well.
