Touratech Travel Event 2009

[sorry, forgot to say this is Touratech UK in the title]

Hi All,

just seen this advertised on the Touratech UK website, and not seen any posts on it yet. The basic info off their website is:

"After the huge success of this years joint open day and travel event we have now decided to make this an annual event. Dates have now been released for 2009 and we have set this for the weekend of 27th/28th and 29th March 2009.

We are hoping to make 2009 bigger and better than this years event with more talks, trade stands and activities. More details are due to be released in the new year so keep your eyes peeled on the website."

There is also a poster .pdf format that is glossey, but doesn't really show any more info at this point [other than location and contact details.

If anyone has any more info on who will be there, or whats going to be happening can you please let us know. [maybe Touratech don't know yet!]

Hopefully they'll be doing the guided tours of the BMW training area again. I did that last year and it was a hoot.

Hmm... someone made a brave decision. Camping in Wales at the end of March. Brrrr.

I'm inclined to agree
bit like holding a day at the Ace Cafe when everywhere is covered in snow and ice
still, it's a giggle ain't it

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
