It would be great to have some sort of HU meetup spot at events like Overland Expo. Maybe a little sign-in booth with a way for people to jot down where they are at the event plus some sort of brief description of their vehicle/campsite/whatever? And/or a brief presentation about HUBB in the Overland Theater, with slideshow?

Next year's event is already on the website as being April 1st-3rd, 2011, at the same location. According to the event schedule Lois, Austin, and Ted will be there again. Exxxxcelllent! Just what I needed: an excuse to ride my sporbike ANOTHER 2,000 miles.

While Lois and Austin are indeed already scheduled to return in 2011, Ted has yet to confirm his availability, although he enjoyed himself immensely this year. Chris Scott has told us he'd like to come next year as well; we just need to handcuff him to an airline seat at the right time.

Sure hope he makes it! (By the way, the Overland Expo web site not only says he'll be there, his name is actually first on the list: Details ). I'm still hoping my schedule will allow me to be at the California HUBB gathering in August where I should be able to hear Ted speak again. It's practically in his back yard!

Sorry for the confusion. The current website still contains the 2010 program; it has not yet been updated. The 2011 program will be posted later this year.
