World Touring Network - Japan Camp Meeting
October 18-19, 2008
Akiha Jinja-mae Campground, Haruno Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, JAPAN

The World Touring Network-Japan will be holding a camp meeting on October 18. Come meet motorcycle travelers, swap stories. Newcomers to international touring can also pick up tips from those who have been before.
Free for traveling riders from other countries who are visiting Japan.

Directions:
From the Hamamatsu or Hamamatsu-nishi exit of the Tomei Expressway in Shizuoka Prefecture, take highway 152 north to highway 362/473 to intersection with pefectural road (kendo) 286 in Haruno Town (28 km from the expressway). Take road 286 about 1 km towards Akiha-jinja Shimo-sha (Shinto shrine).
The campground is on the left side of the road along the river. Look for a "WTN-J" sign. Note that there is another campground in the area. If you go to Akiha Auto Campground and are charged 2,500 yen, you are in the wrong place.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
