There's a couple of us from Shrewsbury & Welshpool going on Thursday. We will be meeting an other 2 from Ireland somewhere around Oswestry. Don't know of any times yet, as this depends on the lads' boat from Paddyland.

I went past there a few weeks ago, and it looked as though Fastrack had gone - just down the road from the old Tesco. Have they moved & is that grumpy old bugger (forget his name), the ex copper still in charge?
Not sure yet where to meet, or when. Last year we met at Pickstocks on the Oswestry bypass.
I'll keep you posted.

Sorry to be so pessimistic....but, is the campsite still operating and is not submerged due to the deluge over the past few days (with more on the way, deep joy)?

Thumbs up Bikez750

Right, we have a cunning plan.......

I'm meeting John at Llynclys crossroads at mid day and the Irish lads at Hein Gericke in Chester at 2pm.
The times are largly set by the Irish ferry, though it'll probably be delayed for any number of reasons!
This works well for all those involved, but to travel from Shrewsbury to meet us would not really be feasable, as you'll start off going 90 degrees in the wrong direction.
However if anyone does wish to join us, you'll be very welcome.
Otherwise, se you all there - mines a large Jamesons ;-)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
