Dusty butt ss 1000 finland
 

DUSTY WOBBLS association and Iron Butt Association Finland (IBAF) will organize DUSTY BUTT SS 1000 ride.
This ultimate ride will be 1726 km in 24 hours including 1000 miles on gravel roads (as required).
NOTE! For safety reasons participants must first qualify themselves by successful DUSTY BUTT 1000K ride. DUSTY WOBBLS will arrange again DUSTY BUTT 1000K ride event before DUSTY BUTT SS 1000.
Event will take place in Finland on May or June 2012.
IBA Finland will issue DUSTY BUTT SS 1000 certificate to persons who complete this ride in accordance to rules and regulations set.
It is possible to camp, rent a cabin or share a cabin with other participants on a lake side at Start / Finish area.

DUSTY BUTT SS 1000 will be official Iron Butt ride.
There are 23 persons in the world who has done it. One event was in Australia and other in South Africa both on flat and strait dessert roads.

We are trying to do that bit harder way on Finnish gravel roads in forest paths. Should be possible according data what I collect during the DUSTY BUTT 1000K this summer. That was our test session for the routes, bikes and riders to check out if it possible to do in Finland and IT IS. :thumbup1:

Next Friday we are heading to Kola peninsula for 10 days. Some 2800 km Russian muddy forest trails and Kuzomen sandy dessert.
