December Namib Desert Run
 

This event has now been running for 25 years. A mixed event but with a majority of bikes and back-up vehicles. Starts in Kuruman, Northern Cape on the 8th December to Swakopmund, Namibia ending on the 15th December.
Includes all types of terrain but mainly good gravel roads through Namibia via Hotazel, Vanzylsrus, Koes, Gochas, Mariental, Windhoek, Khomas Hochland and Swakopmund (3 days stay). This ride, at about 100 entries is smaller than the Easter Run which has +- 1000 entries. Contact me for more info.
