Update on MA5 Piste section near Amtoudi
 

Hi,

We drove from Amtoudi to Tafroute on the 18th of March this year, and used the piste described in MA5. It's a super run, and in great condition. Ok for a 2wd with a bit of ground clearance in places.

I've put up a few snippets of the piste so you can decide if you'd like to ride it or not. It's been one of our favourites!





Amtoudi is well worth a stop, and is a good overnight place there called ondiraitlesud. They have 4 rooms, and a "Salon" where a group of folks could sleep. They have a secure courtyard which I'm sure you could bring your bike into. We did'nt stay there, but spoke to 2 dutch cyclists who gave it the thumbs up.

Your photos answered one question I had, which was could you ride a bike up to the agadir. Obviously not!

Hi Tim,

Maybe a trials bike, but not a fully loaded touring machine. That would make a good photo though......

There are locals offering donkey and mule trips up.


I'd really hate to find something like your photo at KM188, The mog is not so handy at turning on the very tight roads! :-(
