tanger med port

Hi chaps
sorry if this has been covered before - have looked but nothing recent.

I'm off to morroco in april and normally get the fast ferry terifa to tangier
but the new port will be handy to get me onto the motorway & squirt straight down to tan tan.
Has the customs, insurance office, bank etc been sorted at tanger med.?

regards all

I used it in October Algeciras -Tanger Med - Algeciras. Very convenient and fast procedures. And ferries were cheaper. We paid 72 euro for ticket (two ways, rider and bike. Return ticket open).

Hi Gren,

on date 12th Dez 2010 there was:

Insurance and money change in container
Working ATM, Bank, in the "big" building at the beginning of the highway (5 minutes walk from costums/immigratiion cabines.

It was very relaxed and easy (1/2 hour for all).

Greetings
Ferdi

P.S.: What means the english expression "to be sort at" exactly ? I could not found this in dicctionaires.

'sorted' is short for 'sorted out' or 'arranged' or 'organised'. Sometimes it implies that the process of arranging is reasonably smooth or easy.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
